“ It’s not easy to describe this place ! Because it’s too good! Too perfect ! Better to book and try. It’s the only way you can feel the atmosphere, the spirit and see all this beauty and art by yourself. Honestly it’s my best hotel/house I ever stayed in. And believe me, I had many, maybe thousands for all the time of my travels. Every detail in this place is the real art! During my stay in Bangkok I visited one popular museum-the house of one artist, and it was just boring and 20 times less beautiful and artistic, than my this place stay, can you imagine ! And also was so lovely to have this basket with snacks, it’s soooo carefully. Some fruits, toasts, sweets, nuts, coffee (capsules for coffee machine),croissants, even the salad ! Wow, it’s better than 5 stars ! So if you want to touch this magic, to stay inside the most comfortable and cozy art gallery and museum, and even have the feeling of time travelling or being in movie – you should book this room and visit this incredible place !! ”
“We’ve travelled the world, and we can say with confidence that this is one of the best private house we’ve ever stayed at. The space itself is beautiful: decorated with art and antiques, it feels like an oasis of culture and creativity. Every detail has been thought through carefully; there are amenities like books and Netflix in case you want to relax after a long day of exploring. Since the family produces tiles, it has been generous with using different tiles in the space. We just love that room has a unique feel because of this. (We have just visited the Jim Thompson House the day before and the Artist’s House reminds us of the museum – except that Thompson’s specialized in silk while the Angelo Family specializes in tiles). We really appreciate the little basket of drinks, snacks and breakfast items that were available for us. The best part? The coffee machine. The owner will refill the capsule on a daily basis so I can enjoy my morning cup of joe to my heart’s content. We really love that they take such good care of their guests! The owner herself is vibrant; even though it was a short exchange, I could feel her effervescent energy about her that makes you feel welcome. The check-in process for this place is easy. You will receive a message with the code for the color-coded lockbox located right outside the gate – you WILL NOT miss it. We highly recommend this listing if you’re looking for an authentic cultural experience in a beautiful environment ! ”

“My husband and I stayed in Tatinut home for almost a whole week. We loved our stay. The room was very clean, the bed + pillows were extremely comfortable, shower hot, internet quality was excellent and we really enjoyed using the large pull out desk space as both of us are working remotely. The room, bathroom & home are also immaculately designed and beautiful – we felt like we were in a luxury boutique hotel. Tatinut & her staff were very attentive and responsive. They gave us recommendations for restaurants, allowed us to extend our stay when we asked last minute, allowed us to check out late, AND they kindly dropped off baskets with snacks + drinks to us every day which a wonderful surprise! The only minor thing to note is that the location is a little bit outside of the central part of the city, however we did not mind as we used our time there to work and not site see. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend ! ”

“What can I say? This place is absolutely gorgeous. Yes, it’s a little outside of town, but if you plan on doing a lot of shopping at Chatuchak and central Bangkok then it’s pretty OK. However, if you are looking to do more restaurants and alternative shopping in Ekkamai, Thong Lo, or Riverside then I would suggest you pick a place further South. That being said, the hosts are incredibly lovely with a great eye for art. If you want a place to truly escape the hustle and bustle I could not recommend a more beautiful place. The service was also incredible with lovely little breakfast baskets being delivered to our room every day! We spent quite a bit of time just staring and appreciating the beautiful wooden architecture and the incredible tiles designed by them. The floors were exquisite. I hope others get to enjoy this beautiful space as much as we did. ”

Be certain to ask about the urban garden restaurant next door – a Michelin Star-deserving food experience, delivered to your door during COVID restrictions. “We loved staying in the Secret Suite. It was quiet and the room had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The breakfast options were really good. The tiles and the design aesthetic of the whole place was tops! We were running out of clothes but they had a nice washer and dryer that we were able to use. Tatinut was such a great host and it was a pleasure meeting her! Will definitely stay here again next time I’m in Bangkok.”

“What a gem this place is and what an even better host Tatinut (Sugar) was to our group!! We came for a team-building weekend and a time to spend as foreigners in Thailand. The group was a mixed group with some singles and some families and Angelo Family Villas was the perfect setup for our group. Everyone had a room that was great for their needs as well as comfortable and large. We were able to using the Lounge area each day for our meetings and it fit us perfectly. We could order Thai Tea and Coffee and have special touches to our breaks. Sugar provides an amazing little breakfast and it was a nice start to our day. There is also a small basket provided each day with some snacks, coffee pods, water, etc to take to the rooms and use in the small kitchens in each room. The best part of all is the overall decor of the entire bed and breakfast. The tiles are fantastic and give Sugar’s place such a unique atmosphere. There are also pictures everywhere that her husband has made, and several were even done within the last month or two. I saw one depicting the current event of the fire in Notre Dame in Paris. I wanted to buy several of the paintings – which was possible but I didn’t have the luggage space to get them home!! The location is also very nice. It is not central but it is in a quiet neighborhood. The 7/11 is a short walk or you can ride the bicycles provided for free. You could also get a Grab Cab 10 minutes to the Lat Phrao station and from there connect all over Bangkok. JJ Mall/Weekend Market is also nearby for those who love local shopping in Bangkok. Bottom line – everyone in our group was so excited by the accommodations for our time in Bangkok. I highly recommend Sugar’s Angelo Family Suites. It really is as amazing as the pictures on Airbnb show. You will not be disappointed !!”
“Tatinuts place is a real gem in the midst of Bangkok. Well situated, but still a little off the noisy roads and places. The villa is a beautiful, wonderful, classic and personal antipol to the modern sterile hotel world you mostly find in BKK. The place is clean, classy and really friendly. Main road is just a few steps away were you can fetch a taxi or scooter and even the MRT station is possible to walk to. We would stay at Tatinuts villa any time again. Thx for your hospitality Tatinut. Was a pleasure to be your guest.”
